Protecting garden from flood risk
We were contacted earlier this year by a customer near Southampton whose garden was subsiding due to the river bank pile wall not working effectively.
It was agreed that we would need to construct a two-metre high gabion basket wall behind the pile wall and along a 30-metre section of the main river.
To be in a position to carry out the work, we had to complete the necessary paperwork and apply to the environment agency for a FRAP permit (Flood Risk Assessment Permit) three months in advance of the works commencing.
We are a construction company near Southampton, and our team of contractors is experienced in all aspects of water engineering works and utilities.
